Jordan
welcomes the first US carrier to fly non-stop between
New York‘s JFK and Amman-QAIA

– Delta Airlines will continue its industry-leading
expansion between the United States and the Middle East
with new nonstop service from New York’s JFK Airport to
Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport beginning June
5th,.
For the first time, a leading American carrier will
offer non-stop service from the U.S. to Amman paving the
way for other airlines to follow suit.
The Middle East is a key component of Delta’s
international expansion. Since 2005, Delta has added 58
new international destinations to its network. Delta is
now the leading carrier across the Atlantic with 37
destinations, more than any other U.S. airline.
Passengers on Delta’s flights between New York and Amman
will travel on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft which seats 215
passengers. Customers seeking some extra comfort can
enjoy one of the 34 award-winning BusinessElite cabin
seats with extra inches of legroom and innovative food
offerings. Coach class offers 17 IN wide seats with a
30-33 IN seat pitch. The service will also feature
Arabic-speaking flight attendants, in-flight movies with
Arabic subtitles played on overhead videos, dinner and
breakfast (Halal meal options in BusinessElite and
Middle Eastern selections in economy).
As with other airlines, Delta allows two pieces of
luggage weighing no more than
50 LBS (22KGS) free of charge.
Delta’s new nonstop service between New York and Amman
