Supplier Evaluations & Attitudes

Summary:
Thirty (30) Supplier Organizations submitted Evaluations, many of them by telephone WHC personal follow-up. This is an excellent response, well over 50%, and the input and reaction can be considered “valid” for the entire group. 93% of the Suppliers feel Jordan Travel Mart was “very productive” and “Productive.”

Highlights:

  • Almost all the Suppliers like the overall format of the Event: 30% feel it is “Excellent” and 60% rate it “Good.”
     

  • All the Suppliers report that they participated in the pre-scheduled appointments process and requested appointments. 23% of the Suppliers report an “Excellent” level of satisfaction; 50% feel their experience was “good.”
     

  • 83% of the Suppliers feel that the length of the appointments was “Excellent” ( 23%) and “Good” (60%).
     

  • The JTB “Jordan Experience” presentation was not rated by the Suppliers as high as it was rated by the Buyers: 76% feel it was “excellent” or “Good”; 10 % feel it was poor. (These percentages apply to almost all the food function presentations and seminars.)
     

  • 90% of the Suppliers rate the Convention Center facilities and service “excellent” and “good.”
     

  • 26% of the Suppliers were disappointed in the construction “quality” of the booth/stand, sign, and furniture.
     

  • 93% feel this is the most convenient time of the year to hold JTM.
     

  • 86% of the Suppliers feel the Buyers were qualified and interested in Jordan.
     

  • Almost all the Suppliers, 97%, report they plan to attend Jordan Travel Mart ’09.
