Jordan Tourism Board Confirms 3rd
Annual Jordan Travel Mart
February 21, 22, 23, 2010 at the
Dead Sea.
The Jordan Tourism Board North
America will hold the 3rd annual Jordan Travel Mart (JTM) at The
Dead Sea February 21-23, 2010. The format, successfully
introduced in 2008, will continue to feature two (2) days of
pre-scheduled appointments between USA, Canada, Mexico, Central
America, and South America “Buyers” and Jordan “Suppliers,”
product and “voluntourism” updates, and official two (2) and
four (4) day pre and post tours throughout the entire Country.
The Jordan
Tourism Board holds this event each year to provide an
opportunity for Product Buyers to evaluate and package the great
variety of Tourism Products that Jordan offers including
Cultural, Archeological, Religious, and “Eco-Adventure”
experiences. Although Jordan is currently included in
itineraries with neighboring countries, the Jordan Tourism Board
is actively promoting five (5), Eight (8), and Eleven (11) day
“Jordan Only” itineraries that showcase the large scope of the
Jordan “product.”
The Jordan
Travel Mart enables Travel Industry “Buyers” to have
pre-scheduled appointments with carefully qualified Jordan
Suppliers including receptive operators, hotels, and government
and private sector professionals representing Tourism
Promotional organizations from all Jordan destinations.
Seminars, workshops, and business sessions are held at the King
Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea.
Buyer
Registration Fees are $150 including single room accommodations
at the two participating five (5) star Dead Sea Resort Host
Hotels – The Marriott and the Movenpick; all business sessions
and Supplier pre-scheduled appointments; Official CD Directory
of participants; airport welcome and transfers; official
food/social events; ground transportation; and discounted round
trip air fares. Buyers can also take two (2) day pre/post tours
for an additional $75, and/or four (4) day pre/post tours for
$150.
Jordan
Supplier Registration Fees are $1,195 that include one (1)
delegate, 8’ x 10’ booth/stand with table, four (4) chairs,
electricity, and sign; pre-scheduled appointments with Buyers;
Official CD Directory of participants; and all official food &
social functions. Suppliers can also register additional
delegates for $225.
